Some Treat Holders

As I indicated yesterday my craft show season is starting today. Here are a couple of the items I will have for sale. I am a Chocolatier for Dove Chocolate Discoveries, so I'm concentrating on that and finished products made with Stampin' Up! supplies. Anyways, first here is a peanut butter cup holder that I created using the Little Bitty Box Die. The Halloween one used Batty For You and the colors are Basic Black and Cajun Craze. The two Christmas ones use Delightful Decorations and the colors of the first one are Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green. The third one used Real Red and Lucky Limeade (and were my inspiration for yesterday's share).

Also, here are few of the licorice bags that I created using Spooky Bingo Bigs and the skinny cello bags. The colors are Old Olive, Cajun Craze, and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by. And until next time, make it a great day!

SFF 102811

I have not been very good at updating my blog and for that I am sorry. Craft show season has started, so I've been busy trying to get ready for them. But anyways, today is Friday so that means it's Sketch Frenzy Friday. Here is today's sketch.

And here is my creation. I was inspired by one of the projects that I'm working on for my first craft show tomorrow. I will share that project tomorrow as well. Anyways, the stamp sets are Delightful Decorations and Four the Holidays and the colors are Real Red, Lucky Limeade, and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to continue on the little tour to the homepage. Until next time, make it a good day!

The second card uses the same colors, but this time the stamp set is Contempo Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Shares

So I was going through the Christmas cards that I have pictures of and haven't shared yet. Last year at this time I pretty much stopped sharing Christmas cards, but this year I have decided to share Christmas cards through Christmas. The two days a week that I participate in design teams will NOT be Christmas themed and I will try to incorporate the sneak peak items from the Occasions mini. I have too many Christmas cards for the amount of days I'm sharing them, so a couple days, there will be more than one.

Okay, now on to today's share, which of course is a Christmas card. For this card, I used Delightful Decorations and Contempo Christmas. The colors are Baja Breeze and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by and stop by tomorrow for another Christmas card share!

Stamp A Stack Day 4

Today I have two cards with similar layouts but different feels. The Christmas Card uses Lovely As Tree (yes, I finally broke down a purchased this set) and Delightful Decorations. The colors are Rich Razzleberry and Chocolate Chip.

The non-Christmas one use Autumn Days with the same colors, but instead of tiling the squres to look like a window pane, they are four separate stamped images.

And again, here are the two together.

Stamp A Stack Options

My aunts are hosting a Stamp a Stack for me the beginning of December and want to do Christmas cards. Some of the usual guests however, send the picture Christmas cards and are not interested in making Christmas cards, so I try to design cards that are versatile. By versatile, I mean cards that can be made up to be a Christmas card or an everyday card with the same supplies. This weekend I had some design time and I will be showcasing the cards that I came up with this week. Hope you enjoy!

The first card is a simple card and features the Mover and Shakers Big Shot Die. The supplies used for both cards is pretty obvious, Rich Razzleberry for the base and then Whisper White for the punched out shapes. I also used the Elegant Bouquet impressionz folder and white organza ribbon.

Here is the Christmas Card, using the ornament punch and Delightful Decorations.

And here is an "everyday" card using the same basic supplies. The stamp set used for the hearts was Snow Swirled.

And here are the two together.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards and stay tuned tomorrow for another share.

More Ornaments

Here are two more cards with Ornaments on them. One uses the Ornament punch and the other uses a circle punch. I did not make either of these cards, one of my upline's sidelines made the sample for me, wasn't that nice of her?

For this first one, the ornament punch was used with Delightful Decorations and the strings were drawn on. Colors are Bravo Burgandy, Night of Navy and Handsome Hunter. A color combination that I find very striking.

This next one uses the circle punch with the Sweet Centers stamp set.

More Christmas Samples

Here are two more Christmas samples using Delightful Decorations and the ornament punch. Both of them are cases from some swaps my upline received. The first one I changed out the colors. The original used Crushed Curry for the ornament punches.

This second one I used a different embossing folder and do not recall if I changed the colors. The colors used were Soft Suede, Tempting Turquoise, and Sahara Sand.

Stampin' Success Case and LNS Challenge

Last night, I got my new Stampin' Success magazine in the mail and as always, I sat down and paged through it and noted a few cute cards that I liked and would maybe someday case. This is something I do most every time I get my new magazine. Now what happened next, is something I've never done before. I actually sat down and MADE a couple of the cards I noted as cute. Yes, I'm one of those stampers that like to take note of cool projects to someday CASE and never seem to get around to it because my sample projects are numerous! Anyways, this first one also meets the color challenge of using Old Olive, Ruby Red, and Real Rust. The picture does not show the colors very well so you will just have to take my word for it. Stamp set is Delightful Decorations.

The second card I created from Stampin' Success was actually made to display the printed window sheets in the Holiday Mini. I do not have any of them, so I made my own printed window sheets using white Stazon. Colors are Rich Razzleberry and Basic Black. Stamp sets used were Serene Snowflakes and Snow Swirled.

Help!

Help! There is something missing from this card, what is it? Or maybe it's too much Chocolate Chip? What do you think?

A Clear Christmas Card

Here is a card that I made using the acetate paper. The stamp sets I used are from the new Holiday Mine, Delightful Decorations and Serene Snowflakes. I layered the blues and gray on the inside of the card but adhered the ornaments on the outside. I also place a layer of Going Gray on the backside of the inside for a message. Next time I do this, I will only use one layer of Going Gray and adhere it to the back, since the card is clear, it would still show up as a layer when the card is closed. Clear as mud?

Christmas in July and August

I participated in several Christmas in July and Christmas in August swaps. I have shared some of them with you already, but here are a couple more. Both feature sets from the new Holiday Mini catalog. The first one features, once again, Delightful Decorations. Holiday Lounge DSP is also used, along with the new ornament punch, and silver cord.

The next one features the new set Four the Holidays, which is a word set. I used the the snowflake punch and layered Pink Passion and Pretty in Pink cardstock. Finally, the Pretty in Pink cardstock is also stamped with the snowflake trio from Serene Snowflakes.

More Delightful Decorations Sample

So remember the previous post and the post prior to that, with the Delightful Decorations? Well Laurie was playing with it again and came out with yet another version of it. I this is the final one that she is using for her Chirstmas Card Club tomorrow night. She made up another card with this set to show as a sample and me, being the difficult one that I am, requested to do half and half. I guess that's the advantage you get for being friends and helping design the cards :o) Here are the two cards that I get to make.

Swap Sample

Whew! I made 75 cards last night for swaps! I did have them all designed, but needed to put them together. I have about 20 more to go too. Remember the card that I last posted about, designed by Laurie posted here? I redesigned it a little and this is what I cam up with. The recipe is the same with the exception of the white grosgrain ribbon instead of the silver cord. It's not my favorite design, but it works.

Delightful Decorations

Just wanted to share a card that Laurie also managed to design the night of Build-A-Bear fun. You may recognize the layout from one of the cards she designed for the Stampin' From Our Hearts event pictured here. But she used current paper and a stamp set from the upcoming Holiday Mini (available to order from beginning Sept 1). The stamp set is Delightful Decorations, with the matching ornament punch. The greeting is also from a new set in the Holiday Mini, Four the Holidays. She also used the Holiday Lounge DSP. I had a very minor role in helping with the design, but I will be using this for one of the swaps that I'm in too. Cardstock is Sahara Sand and Real Red. Laurie is using it for her Christmas Card Club (of which I am also a member of) where for the next 4 months, she designs and prepared a different card each month and the members have the option of making 10 or 15 cards. If you're interested in joining, contact me and I will be happy to forward you to her.

I have about 10 other swaps that I signed up for, so stay tuned for pictures of those. Enjoy!
