Welcome to Sketch Frenzy Friday. First, here is the sketch.
And here is my creation. I totally forgot that I had to make a card so I quickly threw this together and I'm actually pleased with how it turned out. I was pleasantly surprised, I hope you agree. Also, since this is IBC week, I had to come up with something using sets from the IBC. I used Circle Circus and Party Hearty. The colors are Pacific Point, Soft Suede, Concord Crush, and Whisper White.
Thanks for stopping by! Your next stop is the Sketch Frenzy homepage, where you can add your own creation.

It's Here!
Finally, it's here, the final reveal of the full project. Someone of you might think what is the big deal, but for me it was a big accomplishment. And I know there are plenty of others that could have come up with it in hours, not days. I originally saw the idea on SCS, but a tutorial wasn't available, so I recreated it on my own. Anyways, all the Circle Circus cards were created to be part of this:
So what exactly is an Emergency Card Kit? It contains the six cards that you have been looking at all week. If you noticed, none of the cards at sentiments attached to it and that's because the person giving the card chooses what sentiment to put on it. So the inside looks like this, with 12 different sentiments for them to choose. They just peel of the inside of the folder and they will have exposed dimensionals on the back to adhere the card. See the picture below.
So the whole set put together, looks like this.
So what do you think? Well, it's time for the blog candy. One lucky reader will get the above kit to use for themselves or give to someone else as a gift. Would anyone be interested in purchasing a tutorial for this? Leave me a comment, letting me know what you think and if you would be interested in purchasing a tutorial for a chance to win this kit! The blog candy will be open for as long as this post is the first post (approximately through Monday morning). Don't forget to be sure to leave a way for me to contact you if you're the winner. If you don't, you may lose your eligibility for the candy.

Circle Circus - Day 4
Only two more days after today. But remember Wednesday and Friday posts are already taken by the design posts, so the final reveal won't be until Saturday. I think it's worth the wait though. This is Circle Circus in Pacific Point, Old Olive, Early Expresso, and Whisper White.
As always, thanks for stopping by.

Circle Circus, Day 3
Here is another Circle Circus card using the same colors. Are you getting the same sense that I am and that there is going to be a box set made with these? If so, you are correct, but it's not just any box set. You will just have to be patient and see what kind of set. There are six cards total, so you have to wait...you will be rewarded...maybe with some blog candy (hint, hint, hint). Until then, here is today's share.

Sketch Frenzy Friday
Hope you found all those good specials and are now able to settle in a check out all the Sketch Frenzy Friday creations! The sketch this week is brought to us by Tammy. And here it is.
And here is my creation. I used Circle Circus. The colors are Pacific Point, Early Expresso, Old Olive, and Whisper White. You will notice it's missing a sentiment. There is a good reason for that and you will find out why early next week.
The next stop on your way is the home page where you can add your own creation. Thanks for stopping by!

Royal Blog Tour
This stop features a stamp set new to the 2009-2010 IBC, Circle Circus. I chose this set because of the versatilty of the stamp set. It can be used as the main image or background on a card. I really wanted to do a 3-D project for the tour, but due to time constraints with the passing of my dad and deadlines, I was not able to complete one for you. But I do have several different projects that shows the versatilty of this stamp set that I was talking about.
The first two cards show both a the stamps being used as a background and as a feature image. The one on the left uses Taken with Teal, Basic Black and Whisper White. I also used a stamp set that will be available in the new Summer Mini, Go, Graduate, and Basic Black satin ribbon and a white jumbo grommet. The card on the right uses the colors, Lovely Lilac, Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Whisper White and Basic Black. The ribbon used is the wider grosgrain ribbon in Basic Black.
The last two pictures of the cards that I created using a One Sheet Wonder (OSW) and the images from the Circle Circus set to make the image sheet. The colors are Certain Celery, Bashful Blue, and So Saffron.
Finally, blog candy. Anyone that leaves a comment and/or becomes a follower, will be entered in a drawing for the stamp set Itty Bitty Backgrouds. Make sure to leave contact information in your comment so I can contact you, if you are chosen. If you become a follower (or are already a follower), leave that in your comment also and you will be entered twice.

The colors used on the card on the right are Bashful Blue, Whisper White, and Pacific Point. You may recognize this color as being part of the In-Colors of 2008-2009. With the Color Renovation, this is coming back as part of the color Stampin' Up! colors.
This following card uses the stamp set as both a background and feature image. The colors are Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Old Olive, and Whisper White.

Day 10: SAB Sneak Peak
Here is a card that I made for a lots of layers swap on SCS. The requirements included 8 different layers, one had to be textured CS and another had to be DSP, layered punches (two different punches), 1 ribbon, and 3 brads, eyelets, buttons, etc. I used Vintage Labels as my SAB stamp set and the DSP from SAB (can't recall the name right now). I also used Circle Circus. The colors are Melon Mambo, Green Galore, and Whisper White.
Thanks for looking!

Stamp A Stack Day 3
Today I have another Snow Swirled card to share with you. I don't plan on having both at my Stamp A Stack, but I think I'm going to have problems picking which one to use, maybe you guys can help me.
Here is the Christmas card (I've actually shared this with you before, but here it is again as a refresher). Colors used were Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, and Bermuda Bay.
Again, trying to think outside of the box, I came up with this card, which I think I like better. It uses Fifth Avenue Floral.
Finally, here are the three together.

Here is the first "everyday" card that I designed, again using the same layout and Circle Circus and Thank You Kindly.

Stamp A Stack Day Two
Today, the cards that I'm going to be sharing again use the same supplies and similiar layout, or at least two of them do. I actually came up with two "everyday" cards after I tried to think outside the box and come up with a different layout from the Christmas card for the "everyday" layout. I don't think I'm a huge fan of the different layout though, but you can judge for yourself.
First here is the Christmas card, using Snow Swirled and Four the Holidays for the stamp sets. Colors are Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede and Whisper White.

Here is the first "everyday" card the I designed, using almost the exact layout and Circle Circus and Thank You Kindly stamp sets.
And then I decided that maybe I shouldn't make all the cards look alike. Just because they use the same supplies does not mean they need to have the same layout. Here came the challenge. Here is what I came up with using Wow Flowers and I think I still like the Circle Circus card better.

Happy New Year!
Okay, so it's the new year for Stampin' Up! and the new catalog. To celebrate I have a few samples made with the new In Colors and new stamp sets.
Where have I been? Good question. But it hasn't been here updating my blog, and I'm so sorry about that. I can't believe how the time as flown and the years is half over! To make up for lost time, I will be posting two samples, both using Circle Circus (a new stamp set) and the new In Color paper and inks. The new In Colors are Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry, Mango Mellon, Crushed Curry, and Dusty Durango. This is all of the top of my head, so I may have some words mixed up or a slight variation, so please forgive me. Also used was Think Happy Thoughts stamp set and Razzleberry Lemonade DSP (also off the top of my head).
