Let It Snow!

This card might have been more appropriate for last week, when we got almost two feet of snow. Hopefully, this weekend is going to be dry, but I think we're in for more snow on Monday. Anyways, I digress...today's share uses Season of Friendship and Snow Swirled and is of course a CASE. The colors are Pacific Point, Whisper White, and Early Expresso.

Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow I have a Christmas card that doubles as a gift card holder too.

Here are two cards using Snow Swirled. The colors of the first one are Whisper White and Night of Navy. The sentiment is from Curly Cute.

And for the second card I used Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Early Expresso, and Whisper White.

Back Again!

Sorry, it's been two days, since I've blogged. It's been a while since that has happened. I spent most of the day on Sunday sleeping and watching the pathetic Vikings getting beat. Anyways, I digress, here is my creation for you today. It uses Snow Swirled and is tone on tone embossed. The colors are Silver and Rich Razzleberry.

Tomorrow is the Diva Coffee Break Challenge. I hope to participate, but I'm unsure if I'm going to be able to as I might be leaving town early tomorrow to avoid bad weather and I don't have anything done yet for it. I will have posts scheduled the rest of the week though, so don't forget to check back. Thanks for stopping!

Sketch Frenzy Friday (SFF111910)

It's Friday and that means it's time for another sketch. So here it is.

And here is my take. It might be a little creative stretch, but if you look hard enough you can see it. I used the stamp set Snow Swirled. The colors are Regal Rose and Whisper White. The ribbon is Pretty in Pink.

Thanks for stopping by and your next stop is the home page to view the list of participants and participate yourself.

Vintage Snow

Sorry this is so late and I didn't post yesterday. The all nighter that I pulled on Friday night has caught up with me and I got a cold on top of it. Anyways, this is a CASE, but I changed the stamp set. The ones that I used were Northern Hearts and Snow Swirled. The colors are Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, and Very Vanilla.

Thanks for your patience and for stopping by!

KISS Share

KISS - Keep it simple stupid, or others use a nicer word like sweetie. That's what today's share is all about, keeping it simple. I am designing simple Christmas cards to sell in packages of 10 for $10. This is one of the designs. I used Snow Swirled and the colors are Elegant Eggplant, Marina Mist, and Night of Navy.

Thanks for stopping by!

Snow Swirled

Another Christmas card share for you. I don't know when or why I started Christmas cards, but apparently I did. This one uses Snow Swirled and has the monochromatic look to it. I used Marina Mist, Pacific Point, and Whisper White.

Once again, thanks for stopping by!

Another Snowflake Share

Sorry, I didn't get around to posting yesterday, nor have I gotten around to posting my BAB tutorial. This weekend went by in a blur. Hopefully tonight I'll have time to take the pictures and download them to my computer (I have the tutorial written up already). Anyways, here is another snowflake share. The stamps sets I used were Snow Swirled and Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Cardstock: Whisper White (2.25" x 2.25" and scraps for 3/4" punched circles), Tempting Turquoise (2.5" x 2.5", scraps for 1/2" punched circle and snowflake, and 4.25" x 11" folded), Green Galore (4" x 1.25" and scrap for 1/2" pinched circle), Kalidescpoe DSP (4" x 4"), Melon Mambo (scraps for 1/2" punched circles)
Accessories: White Organza Ribbon, brads

Thanks for stopping by!

Day 5 of Stamp A Stack Options

Today's layout is a total CASE from the 2009/2010 IBC. The only changes I made was the stamped images so I did not have to clean stamps in between stamping the different images. The stamp set is Holiday Blitz and sentiment from Snow Swirled. The colors used are So Saffron, Rose Red, Old Olive, and Pixie Pink.

The non-holiday card uses the same stamp set and colors.

And finally, the two of them together.

Stamp A Stack Day 3

Today I have another Snow Swirled card to share with you. I don't plan on having both at my Stamp A Stack, but I think I'm going to have problems picking which one to use, maybe you guys can help me.

Here is the Christmas card (I've actually shared this with you before, but here it is again as a refresher). Colors used were Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, and Bermuda Bay.

Here is the first "everyday" card that I designed, again using the same layout and Circle Circus and Thank You Kindly.

Again, trying to think outside of the box, I came up with this card, which I think I like better. It uses Fifth Avenue Floral.

Finally, here are the three together.

Stamp A Stack Day Two

Today, the cards that I'm going to be sharing again use the same supplies and similiar layout, or at least two of them do. I actually came up with two "everyday" cards after I tried to think outside the box and come up with a different layout from the Christmas card for the "everyday" layout. I don't think I'm a huge fan of the different layout though, but you can judge for yourself.

First here is the Christmas card, using Snow Swirled and Four the Holidays for the stamp sets. Colors are Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede and Whisper White.

Here is the first "everyday" card the I designed, using almost the exact layout and Circle Circus and Thank You Kindly stamp sets.

And then I decided that maybe I shouldn't make all the cards look alike. Just because they use the same supplies does not mean they need to have the same layout. Here came the challenge. Here is what I came up with using Wow Flowers and I think I still like the Circle Circus card better.

Stamp A Stack Options

My aunts are hosting a Stamp a Stack for me the beginning of December and want to do Christmas cards. Some of the usual guests however, send the picture Christmas cards and are not interested in making Christmas cards, so I try to design cards that are versatile. By versatile, I mean cards that can be made up to be a Christmas card or an everyday card with the same supplies. This weekend I had some design time and I will be showcasing the cards that I came up with this week. Hope you enjoy!

The first card is a simple card and features the Mover and Shakers Big Shot Die. The supplies used for both cards is pretty obvious, Rich Razzleberry for the base and then Whisper White for the punched out shapes. I also used the Elegant Bouquet impressionz folder and white organza ribbon.

Here is the Christmas Card, using the ornament punch and Delightful Decorations.

And here is an "everyday" card using the same basic supplies. The stamp set used for the hearts was Snow Swirled.

And here are the two together.

I hope you enjoyed today's cards and stay tuned tomorrow for another share.

Stampin' Success Case and LNS Challenge

Last night, I got my new Stampin' Success magazine in the mail and as always, I sat down and paged through it and noted a few cute cards that I liked and would maybe someday case. This is something I do most every time I get my new magazine. Now what happened next, is something I've never done before. I actually sat down and MADE a couple of the cards I noted as cute. Yes, I'm one of those stampers that like to take note of cool projects to someday CASE and never seem to get around to it because my sample projects are numerous! Anyways, this first one also meets the color challenge of using Old Olive, Ruby Red, and Real Rust. The picture does not show the colors very well so you will just have to take my word for it. Stamp set is Delightful Decorations.

The second card I created from Stampin' Success was actually made to display the printed window sheets in the Holiday Mini. I do not have any of them, so I made my own printed window sheets using white Stazon. Colors are Rich Razzleberry and Basic Black. Stamp sets used were Serene Snowflakes and Snow Swirled.

A Day Late and A Dollar Short

Okay, really a week late, but no money short. So here is yet another LNS Challenge that I didn't get posted in time, maybe this week, right? The challenge was a flat card, no layers, no embellishments. So here is my take. I used Snow Swirled and Night of Navy cardstock with Whisper White Craft Ink.

And because that does not meet the requirements of the several swaps I signed up to participate in, I stepped it up to be this, which I did use in one of my swaps.

Snow Swirled

Here is another Christmas card that I CASED. I must be in the Christmas card making mode. I am also trying to plan a Christmas card SAS, which may also be why. Anywho, this used Snow Swirled and is pretty simple, but I think elegant at the same time. Colors are Whisper White, Bermuda bay, Rich Razzleberry, and Night of Navy.

Last of the Holiday Cards

Well, today is the day and by the time you're reading this Laurie and I are probably knee deep in cut cardstock and hopefully completed cards. Here are the last of the cards that we created that I have pictures of. There is one more, but it's made from non SU! cardstock that was donated to Stampin' From Our Hearts.

This one is a card that Laurie designed that again used retired DSP and in-colors. The stamp sets used were Snow Swirled and Many Merry Messages (again, I think).

The last one that I have to show with you also uses Snow Swirled and the retired Kiwi Kiss cardstock and satin ribbon. The greeting is from Season of Joy.

Stay tuned next week for the final number of cards made and pictures from the event!
