SFF 062411

Welcome to another week of Sketch Frenzy Friday. Unfortunely, I did not get any crafting done since Wednesday and therefore I have nothing new for you. But, here is the sketch.

Please create something for me and post it on our homepage here! Thanks for stopping by.

DCBC Share

Howdy stampers! Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday. I'm knee deep in convention swaps, which I will be sharing with you while I'm at convention. I am trying to continue to create something new everyday to share here too, but sometimes it's just too much. Anyways, it's Wednesday so that means it's the Diva Coffee Break Challenge. And this week it's a sketch challenge.

I really struggled with this one. I finally came up with something, but I do have to admit it's not my favorite. I couldn't justify spending any more time on it though with the hundreds and hundreds of swaps I still have to create. The colors are Baja Breeze, Old Olive, Regal Rose and Whisper White. I did use some DSP, Nursery Suite, but you can't see much of it. The stamps is from Define Your Life.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the rest of the design team's creations here.

Wicked Fun DSP - Day 2

I have two shares for you today. The first is the Father's Day card I quickly put together for TC's dad. You may recognize the layout from yesterday's card, it's pretty much the same. The sentiment is from a retiring set, All Holidays. The colors are the same as yesterday's Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive.

The second share I have for you also uses Wicked Fun DSP. This is a CASE from the newest Stampin' Success, kind of, using Pretty Postage. I added a couple of layers and the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. The colors are the same as the above card.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Quick Post

Here is a quick post before I head out to Father's Day festivities with TC and his family. Continuing with Operation: Depleting DSP, I decided to tackle the Halloween DSP Wick Fun, but not make a Halloween card. Here is what I came up with. The sentiment is from Word Play and the colors are Whisper White, Cajun Craze, and Rich Razzleberry.

Thanks for stopping by!

Operation: Depleting DSP - Sunny Garden

Today's share features Sunny Garden DSP. The colors are Old Olive, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White. The sentiment is from Only Ovals and the flowers are from Flower Fest.

Sketch Frenzy Friday 061711

Once again it's Friday so that means it's Sketch Frenzy Friday. And here is the sketch.

I decided to rotate the sketch and combined a sneak peak with my Operation: Depleting DSP. So here is what I came up with. The colors are Blushing Bride, Pool Party, and Wisteria Wonder. The stamp set is Pendant Parade. The DSP is again the Level 1 DSP patterns.

And don't forget to continue on your way to the homepage to add your own creation. Thanks for stopping by!

Late Post - Sweet & Sour DSP

Here is another card that I CASEd using the Sweet & Sour DSP. The sentiment is from Bring on the Cake (which is returning in the new catalog). Colors other than in the DSP are Very Vanilla and Basic Black.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out tomorrow's all new Sketch Frenzy!

DCBC and Operation: Depleting DSP

So it's Wednesday again, so that means it's the Diva Coffee Break Challenge. This week it's a color challenge and here are the colors.

It just so happens that I was also able to incorporation my Operation: Depleting DSP too. For this creation I used the DSP sampler from the Level 1 Hostess (which I also have way too much of). The stamp set is Best Dad Ever.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other designer's creations here.

Greenhouse Gala - Day 2

Here is day two of Greenhouse Gala. Again, the only stamping is the sentiment, which is from Occasional Quotes. The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White.

Tomorrow is the Diva Coffee Break Challenge, so we may be taking a break from the Deleting DSP Operation. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet, so stay tuned. As always, thanks for stopping by!

Day 3 - Greenhouse Gala

I'm on day 3 of my mission and have moved onto Greenhouse Gala. The only stamping is the sentiment from Curly Cute. The colors are Early Expresso, Pear Pizzaz, and Whisper White.

Tomorrow is another Greenhouse Gala share. Thanks for stopping by!

Operation: Depleting DSP - Day 2

As promised, here is another card using the Sweet & Sour DSP. It amazes me how different the two cards look from each other, even though they use the same DSP. The colors used are Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, and Rose Red. The sentiment is from Word Play.

Thanks for stopping by. The next package of DSP to be featured is Greenhouse Gala.

Operation: Depleting DSP - Day 1

Yesterday I went through all the DSP that I have that is retiring and I have a stack of about three inches of DSP that will retire at the end of this month. This does not include the Hostess 1 paper pack, or any of the DSP that retired with the minis. So my new mission is to use as much as possible before it retires. Today's feature DSP is Sweet & Sour. The stamp set is Happy Greetings and the colors are Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, and Old Olive.

This is actually take four on this card and I think this is the one I like best. Tomorrow will be another card featuring Sweet & Sour. Thanks for stopping by!

SFF 061011

It's Friday, so that means another Sketch Frenzy Friday. Here is this week's sketch.

And here is my creation. It was inspired by what I think will be one of my floor swaps for convention, which was inspired by Mary Brown. The stamp sets are Aviary and Happy Greetings. The colors are Peach Parfait, Crumb Cake, Early Expresso, and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out our homepage and add your own creation!

Birthday Share

This is a CASE of a card that I received in a swap. I really liked the card, but the DSP is retiring, so I decided to make it with some of the new sneak peak DSP. The stamp set is Bring On the Cake (which is coming back to the new catalog). The colors are Wisteria Wonder, Melon Mambo, Elegant Eggplant, and Whisper White. The layout is very similar to yesterday's DCBC sketch, which I thought was pretty ironic, since I don't think they had anything to do with each other.

Thanks again, for stopping by and don't forget that tomorrow is Sketch Frenzy Friday.

It's Wednesday, so that means that it's time for a Diva Coffee Break Challenge. It also means that I will be heading home from my trip to Disney World. Anyways, this week is a sketch challenge and here is the sketch.

And here is my creation. I used something new and something old for the stamp sets. The new is Flower Fest and the old is Occasional Quotes. I also used the new border punch from the new catalog. The colors are Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade (a new in-color), and Whisper White.

Don't forget to check out the other creations and play along on the homepage. Thanks for stopping by!

Summer Mini Hostess

Here is a card that I made for a swap for the Summer Mini catalog. My stamp set was the hostess level two set: Love & Caring. The colors I used are Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tango Tangerine, Early Expresso, and Whisper White. It was definitely an inspired by, if not CASEd, creation.

Don't forget that tomorrow is the DCBC challenge. And as always, thanks for stopping by!

Sneak Peaks

Okay, I couldn't resist. I'm now in Disney, but before the day before I left, I was supposed to be cleaning, packing, and getting ready for my trip to Disney World the next day, but my new stuff was just sitting there all lonely. I couldn't leave it in that state for a week, so the stamps just had to see ink, the paper had to be cut, punches punched, die cuts cut and you get the point. Anyways, so here is my CASE of the Stampin' Success Cover. I used lots of sneak peak stuff, including new stamp sets, DSP, punch, and colors. The stamp sets are My Friend and Delicate Doilies. The new punch is the border punch, the DSP is called Flirtatious, and the new in-color is Wisteria Wonder (my favorite right now). The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Wisteria Wonder, Pretty in Pink, and Whisper white.

And here is a slightly different version of the same card. Same colors and one stamp set, but this time the sentiment is from Hodgepode Happiness (a set that is retiring at the end of this month). I also used the new die cut for the scalloped circle layer.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the sneak peak. I'm not sure what I have in store for you tomorrow yet, but I do hope you stop by to check it out!

CAS Baby Card

Here is a very CAS CASE of a baby card. The stamp set is Baby Steps and is retiring. This is the first time I've used the stamp and I'm very sad to see it going. The colors are Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White.

Stay tuned for tomorrow share - it's a sneak peak from the new catalog! Thanks for stopping by!

MDS Share

Okay, here is a new one for me. I'm sharing something that I created on MDS. It's our wedding announcements. As you probably know, we eloped in New Orleans, just the two of us, so are going to be sending these out to let everyone know. Also, we've recently moved, so I included our new address too. This is the first time that I've really created something from scratch in MDS and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Before you get to excited though, the design was CASEd from one of those photo printing places that premake these sorts of things. I was going to just use that one, but I wanted to be able to match the colors for Thank You notes (should we receive any gifts), so I decided to use MDS. It's a sickness, I tell you, having to match everything. The colors are Marina Mist, Regal Rose, Basic Grey, and Elegant Eggplant.

The background is obviously white and I guess when I convert it to PDF, it doesn't draw the outline. Anyways, the size is 5 x 7.

Thanks for stopping by and have a good weekend!

Welcome to Sketch Frenzy Friday and I actually have a post for you! But first, the sketch.

And here is my creation. I used some leftovers from my creation I shared with you on Wednesday. Again, the only stamping is the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. The colors are Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Early Expresso, and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by and your next stop is our homepage.

Pretty Postage Share

Here is another card that I created (read CASEd, or inspired by someone else) today. Two days in a row! Anyways, I used Pretty Postage and the colors are Real Red and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget that tomorrow is Sketch Frenzy Friday, and I have a creation for that too this week!

DCBC

I'm back for the time being. We'll see how long this lasts. We leave for Disney World on Friday and then it's less than a month before TC leaves again, but I HAVE to work on convention swaps! Anyways, this week is a color challenge and here are the colors.

And here is my creation. The only stamping is the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. It is a CASE from someone, but can't remember who right now. If it's yours, please leave a comment.

Thanks for stopping by and your patience, while I catch my breathe. Don't forget to check out the other design team member's creations here.
