I'm a frequent blurfer and find myself collecting great ideas from other stampers. I am inspired by them and the projects they create. While I like to change up something about a project that I am CASING, sometimes there's no reason to change something that is perfect. It can be assumed that every idea I share, I got from someone else unless I indicate otherwise. I'm not very good at always keeping and knowing who the originator is so, if you see something that looks like yours, please let me know and I will give proper credit when due. Please don't be hurt or offended if I don't give you credit originally.
Another Just Believe sample. This card I created for a shoebox swap that I participated in on the free night of Convention. I used Blush Blossom, Early Expresso, and Whisper White. Thanks to Sherrill and all the freebies she gave away at pre-convention, I had the correct punch for use that night. I accidently brought the wide oval, instead of the 1 3/4" circle (oops!)
It's Friday again and that means Sketch Frenzy Friday! Here is the sketch.
And here is my creation. I used Just Believe. How many cards it that with this set now? Three? Well I have three more to show in the upcoming days too. I guess I can't get enough of it :o) The colors are Pretty in Pink, Basic Gray and Whisper White. I also used a bit of the Lap of Luxury DSP.
Thanks for stopping by! The next person to visit is Angela. If you care to play along, please visit our homepage here for you to post your creations.
Sorry I didn't post yesterday. This week has kind of been a whirlwind. Yesterday was my last day of working, though I'm still getting paid through Monday and then receiving 4 weeks of severance pay, so I have some personal things to take care of. Anyways, now on to the stamping. Here another one of my swaps from convention. I again used Just Believe. The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black and Whisper White. And yes, I used some shimmer mist.
Tomorrow is Sketch Frenzy Friday and I will be joining my friend tomorrow again with my own creation. Thanks!
Here is a swap card that I created for a New from the New Catalog Swap. It had to be a stamp set that was new to the new catalog, excluding the pre-order sets. I chose Just Believe. The colors are Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, and Marina Mist. The sentiment is from Occassional Quotes.
I'm back from convention and am exhausted! But it was well worth it. I have tons of new ideas and motivation to get my business going. So be on the look out for some new clubs that I will be introducing in the near future. But first, onto the long lost shares that I promised you last week. Here is one of the cards that I created for my general swaps. I used Concord Crush, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake. The stamp sets are Vintage Vogue and Very Vintage wheel.
I plan to continue to share more of the swaps that I swapped at convention everyday this week. So stayed tuned! And thanks for your patience
Hi everyone from Salt Lake City. Sorry I've been MIA all week. I know I promised swap samples, but I've been so busy and exhausted that I haven't had the energy for much else. Today is Sketch Frenzy Friday and I'm sorry to report that I do not have a creation for you but I wanted to make sure you are still able to go to all the blogs. I'm writing this from my phone so I can't even post the sketch, but as usual, the next blog is Angela here.
Welcome to the third VC Rocks Blog Hop, if you came from Patrice's blog, you're well on your way. If not, don't worry, you can start from my blog. And if you get lost you can also go to the main page and find your way again.
Okay on to the stamping, today's share is a card that used Occassional Quotes and the Greenhouse Gala DSP. It's pretty simple, but I still like it. I also used the new flower punch. The colors are Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Daffidol Delight, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White.
Thanks for stopping by and the next stop on your trips is Jane. And don't forget, starting Monday I will be showing my convention swaps all week.
It's that time again and I know I've been slacking again on posting this week. Next week will be better, I promise. I will be showing you all the cards I've been busily mass producing for my convention swaps. This weekend is also VC Rocks third blog tour, which I will also be participating in. One final admin item, I'm still looking for Sharon L to contact me to claim her blog candy.
Okay, first here is the sketch.
And now my creation. I used the Medallion stamp set and With All My Heart for the sentiment. The colors are Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, and Whisper White.
Please join me and create your own take of the sketch. You will notice the new label to the sketch post - SFF071610, if you do play along, please also use this label. And now on to the next blog, Angela. And don't forget to stop by tomorrow for the blog tour. Thanks!
I'm actually getting a post up two days in a row, can you beleive it? Here is the card that we will be making tonight at my upline's meeting. I used the new embossing folder, Elegant Lines, a new stamp, For You Flower, and new DSP Greenhouse Gala. The colors are Marina Mist, Daffadill Delight, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White.
I'm still looking for Sharon L to contact me so I can get my blog candy out to her too. Until next time, thanks for stopping by!
I'm so sorry to all my neglected blog readers. I broke a promise to you all. Saturday came and went and then Sunday came and went and I didn't have anything ready to share with you. Like I said earlier, I'm trying to hold out on showing you my convention swaps until next week, but I don't have much else to share right now, as that's all I've been working on the past week and will be working on this week. But here is a card that I did create this weekend for a non-convention swap. I may tweek it a little to make it a convention swap though. Anyways, it used Aviary and Occassional Quotes. I also used the new patterened DSP. The perpective is a little wierd, sorry about that.
And finally, the blog candy winner from last weekend is - - Sharon L. Sharon please contact me with your mailing address to claim your prize!
Wow, where did the week go? I'm so sorry that I haven't updated my blog since Monday! I've been so busy trying to design and then mass produce my swaps for convention that I haven't really created any new cards. I will be scheduling my swaps to be posted while I'm at convention, so I don't spoil the surprise for those of you actually there. Anyways, I digress. It's Friday, so that means it Sketch Frenzy! First, here is the sketch.
And here is my card. This is not at all what I imaged when I first started, but I think I like the outcome. I used Cute by the Inch, Dot, Dot, Dot, and Apple Blossoms. The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Early Expresso, and Whisper White. The layer directly behind the small square isn't what you probably think it is. I'm guessing you're thinking is the new punch that Stampin' Up! released to go with this set. Well, no I haven't ordered that one yet (though now I'm kind of wishing that I did), so I improvised by using 1" circles and layering them behind the image.
I know I still owe you a blog candy winner to and I PROMISE that I will post that tomorrow with another new card. Thanks for your patience and for stopping by! And now on to the next blog.
Sorry this was posted as just pictures for the majority of the day. I tried to post it from my cell phone, but it wasn't letting me add any writing to the pictures. Anyways, here is a double slider gift card holder. Here it is closed. The colors are Whisper White, Concord Crush and Marina Mist. The stamp set is Because I Care.
And here is the slider pulled out, the gift card is placed where my business card is currently adhered with temporary adhesive. The sentiment is from Will All My Heart.
Thanks for stopping by and tomorrow will the be announcement of the blog candy winner!
Here is today's share, sorry it's kind of late. I used the level 2 hostess set Apple Blossoms. The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Tempting Turquise, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake.
Today is my birthday and in celebration of it I'm giving away some blog candy! It will be the clear mounted Picnic Parade, which was a level 2 hostess set from the Occassions Mini. To enter, lease me a comment and/or subscribe to my blog. You have until Tuesday night to enter. Hope everyone has safe and happy holidays!
It's Friday and that means is Sketch Frenzy Friday! Here is today's sketch.
And here is my take. As promised, it actually isn't a CASE! The only stamping was the sentiment from Apple Blossoms. The flower is from the Birds and Blooms sizzlit and the DSP is Greenhouse Gala. The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz, and Chocolate Chip.
Thanks for stopping by! You can see another sample using this sketch by going to Angela's blog here.
