Another Share Using SFF 031111

As promised, here is another card that I created based on yesterday's sketch. This time I used Apple Blossoms. The colors are Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Poppy Parade, Concord Crush, and Whisper White.

And then I decided to step it up a bit and added a couple more layers.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

Wow, where did the week go? I'm so sorry that I haven't updated my blog since Monday! I've been so busy trying to design and then mass produce my swaps for convention that I haven't really created any new cards. I will be scheduling my swaps to be posted while I'm at convention, so I don't spoil the surprise for those of you actually there. Anyways, I digress. It's Friday, so that means it Sketch Frenzy! First, here is the sketch.

And here is my card. This is not at all what I imaged when I first started, but I think I like the outcome. I used Cute by the Inch, Dot, Dot, Dot, and Apple Blossoms. The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Early Expresso, and Whisper White. The layer directly behind the small square isn't what you probably think it is. I'm guessing you're thinking is the new punch that Stampin' Up! released to go with this set. Well, no I haven't ordered that one yet (though now I'm kind of wishing that I did), so I improvised by using 1" circles and layering them behind the image.

I know I still owe you a blog candy winner to and I PROMISE that I will post that tomorrow with another new card. Thanks for your patience and for stopping by! And now on to the next blog.

Apple Blossoms Share and Blog Candy

Here is today's share, sorry it's kind of late. I used the level 2 hostess set Apple Blossoms. The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Tempting Turquise, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake.

Today is my birthday and in celebration of it I'm giving away some blog candy! It will be the clear mounted Picnic Parade, which was a level 2 hostess set from the Occassions Mini. To enter, lease me a comment and/or subscribe to my blog.  You have until Tuesday night to enter. Hope everyone has safe and happy holidays!

Sketch Frenzy Friday

It's Friday and that means is Sketch Frenzy Friday! Here is today's sketch.

And here is my take. As promised, it actually isn't a CASE! The only stamping was the sentiment from Apple Blossoms. The flower is from the Birds and Blooms sizzlit and the DSP is Greenhouse Gala. The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz, and Chocolate Chip.

Thanks for stopping by! You can see another sample using this sketch by going to Angela's blog here.

OOPS!

I went MIA yesterday, so about that, it wasn't purposely done. I have another CASE for you. I did change up the sentiment and added some spritz (that I got a little crazy with). The sentiment comes from Apple Blossoms. The paper is Newsprint DSP. Colors are Very Vanilla, Real Red and Basic Black.

Cute by the Inch Case

Today's share used Cute by the Inch and the layout is a CASE from a card I received from Sharon Field. Be sure to check out her blog here. The card I received from her was a birthday card with a retiring stamp, but I just loved the layout and had to replicate it. Here is my version of it. I also used the new Greenhouse Gala DSP and the sentiment is from another Hostess Set, Apple Blossoms. The colors are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget tomorrow is Sketch Frenzy! And then this weekend is the second VC Rocks Blog Tour!
