Vote Tomorrow

Hi everyone, sorry there is no project to share today. I just got home from being out and about and haven't had time to do much stamping, but I wanted to remind you all to vote for me tomorrow!

My card uses the new BAB stamp set in the Holiday Mini, Season of Hugs, and the main BAB set, Beary Best Friends. The colors are Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke, Basic Black and Whisper White. Now I had trouble deciding if I should use the ribbon or not. So you can chose.

Ribbon or no ribbon? Let me know what you think.  And I have one small little project left to show you. This uses the new candy wrapper in the Holiday Mini and Wicked Fun DSP and the sentiment is from Wicked Cool.

Okay on to the stamping, today's share is a card that used Occassional Quotes and the Greenhouse Gala DSP. It's pretty simple, but I still like it. I also used the new flower punch. The colors are Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Daffidol Delight, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White.

Second VC Rocks Blog Tour

Welcome to my blog, you probably have come from Barb's blog. But if you're starting here, have no worries you'l  still be able to see all the blogs. And if you get lost, you can always go back to the VC Rocks main page and find your way again. Today, I'm featuring the new sneak peak items, Baby Bundle and Greenhouse Gala DSP, along with some of the new colors. I actually have two shares for you and I need to decide which one to use for a swap, maybe you guys can help.  Here is the first card that I created. The colors are Pear Pizzazz, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White. The sentiment is from Perfect Punches.

But then I thought it was too busy and changed up some of the layers and came up with the following. Some colors and layout, just rotated.

Royal Blog Tour

This castle features the stamp set Razzle Dazzle and the new in colors. The first sample features the in-colors Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, and Melon Mambo cardstock, Crushed Curry and Rich Razzleberry ink pads, and the new in color markers Dusty Durango, Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo. Finally, the the punches include the eyelet border punch, Modern Label punch, ticket corner punch and the Word Window punch.

Next, is the circle scalloped card. I used the Big Shot to cut out the Scalloped Circle and Circle for the case base. And then I used Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry ink. Also, the polka dotted ribbon again, along with the Modern Label and Word Window punches.

Using Melon Mambo cardstock for the base, this sample also shows the rock-n-roll technique with the Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo ink. Finally, the scalloped border punch was also used. Stop by next week to see the inside of the card that uses the Look Here die.

My final sample I also used as a WOW swap and again utilized the in color cardstock and polka dot ribbon. Whisper White Craft ink and the white jumbo grommet were also used.

May 15th & 16th Blog Tour

This stop features the Cheers to You stamp set. At first I didn't see what the big deal of this stamp set was, but once I got to using it, I was amazed at the versitility of it!


The first sample is with the Daiquiri stamp, along with Pretty in Pink, Real Red, and Whisper White cardstock, Raspberry Tart DSP, Basic Black ink, Pretty In Pink and Real Red Stamp 'N Write markers, and the keynote punch and 1/4" grosgrain white ribbon.


The next uses the Margarita glass stamp. The paper includes Pink Piroquette, and Whisper White and Bella Rose DSP. The accessories used were the circle punches, designer label from the hodge podge hardware and striped Riding Hood Red Ribbon.


Next up is the Martini glass and the square scalloped punched pieced to frame the 1 1/4" square punch. Paper: Very Vanilla, Real Red, and Old Olive; Punches: Squared Scallop, 1 1/4" square punch, and scalloped border; Accessories: Real Red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.


And last but not least, my favorite card, a card with the beer mug. And not because I like beer, because actually I hate beer. Anyways, this card used More Mustard, Basic Black, Going Gray, and Whisper White cardstock. Accessories included the circle punches, white gel pen, and gingham ribbon.
