Here is a quick post before I head out to Father's Day festivities with TC and his family. Continuing with Operation: Depleting DSP, I decided to tackle the Halloween DSP Wick Fun, but not make a Halloween card. Here is what I came up with. The sentiment is from Word Play and the colors are Whisper White, Cajun Craze, and Rich Razzleberry.

Operation: Depleting DSP - Day 2
As promised, here is another card using the Sweet & Sour DSP. It amazes me how different the two cards look from each other, even though they use the same DSP. The colors used are Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, and Rose Red. The sentiment is from Word Play.
Thanks for stopping by. The next package of DSP to be featured is Greenhouse Gala.

Strength & Hope Meets Wedding
Yesterday, while working on my card for Sketch Frenzy, I was trying to think of other ways I could use the stamp set. I mostly stamp to sell my cards in a little local boutique, and I wasn't sure how well this set would sell. Looking at the words in the script stamp, I noticed most of them would also be suitable for a wedding card, maybe not all. So how would I use the stamp without using the words I didn't feel suitable for a wedding card? Cut them off. That's one of the beauties of having clear mount stamps, you can cut things off or out and then easily piece them back together if you want to use the stamp as it was. Or take them apart to use the stamp to fit your needs. That is what I did here.
I used this stamp to CASE myself. This was the original card. And here is what I did. The sentiment is from Word Play. The colors are the same, Basic Black, Basic Grey, and Whisper White.
Thanks for stopping by and I would love to see what else you can come up with this set!

Diva Coffee Break Challenge
It's Wednesday, so that means that it's the Diva Coffee Break Challenge. But first, let me announce my blog candy winner - Jenni Sylvia! Congratulations Jenni, I have sent you an email for your information. I am sad to say that Tricia at Tricia's Space was the original winner, but as I warned, I was unable to easily locate any contact information. Tricia, if you're reading this, please contact me and I will see if I can find a consolation prize for you.
Okay, now back to the Divas. This week is a color challenge, and here are the colors.
And here is my card, using Paisley Prints and Word Play. I have to admit that I have had this done for a while, but decided to save it for this challenge. See, I misread the challenge numbers, or something, and did this two color challenges ago to find out, they were the wrong colors when I went to post my creation on the homepage. So back to the drawing board I went. Anyway, here is my creation.
Thanks for stopping by and baring with all my chatter today. Don't forget to check out the homepage for the other creations and to add your own.

Diva Coffee Break Sketch
Today is the Diva Coffee Break sketch challenge. I have two cards created with it, PLUS a sneak peak from the Occasions Mini available in January. First, here is the sketch.
And here is my first creation, that is on the Diva's homepage and features a stamp set from the new Occasions mini, Button, Button. The other stamp sets I used were Tiny Tags, and So Many Thanks. The colors are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White.
And as an added bonus, I have another card for. This card uses French Foliage and Word Play and has almost the opposite effect that my first card does. The first card reminds me of spring and this card is definitely a fall/winter card. The colors are Early Expresso, Tangerine Tango, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White. I actually stamped the leaves on the base of the card a while ago for something else that I didn't finish and found it laying on my desk and finished it off for this challenge.
Hope you enjoyed my shares (and the break from Circle Circus) and be sure to check out the other Diva's creations and add your own here. Thanks for stopping by!

Owls, Owls, and Owls
As you can tell from the sneak peak yesterday, I got the new owl punch! I'm in love with it too. I punched 32 owls for the card I'm going to share with you today. It's pretty much a CASE from convention. I used Word Play for the sentiment and the colors are Early Expresso, Peach Parfait, and Cherry Cobler.
Don't forget, tomorrow is Sketch Frenzy Friday! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you tomorrow!
