Second VC Rocks Blog Tour
Welcome to my blog, you probably have come from Barb's blog. But if you're starting here, have no worries you'l still be able to see all the blogs. And if you get lost, you can always go back to the VC Rocks main page and find your way again. Today, I'm featuring the new sneak peak items, Baby Bundle and Greenhouse Gala DSP, along with some of the new colors. I actually have two shares for you and I need to decide which one to use for a swap, maybe you guys can help. Here is the first card that I created. The colors are Pear Pizzazz, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White. The sentiment is from Perfect Punches.
But then I thought it was too busy and changed up some of the layers and came up with the following. Some colors and layout, just rotated.

DSP Share
Don't forget, today is the last day to enter for my blog candy! See Friday's post for all the details.
Thanks!
Here is the other card that I did at yesterday's work shop featuring DSP. This sample demonstrates stamping on DSP and then cutting it out to make the dress patterned. And also shows another way to layer DSP. The stamps sets are Beary Best Friends and Beary Best Wishes. The DSP is the Print Patterns in Rich Razzleberry and Chocolate Chip (both are retiring).

It's Here! Sketch Frenzy Friday with Blog Candy
It's that time again. Sketch Frenzy Friday. This week's sketch is actually a sketch that I designed and I just can't seem to get enough of it. I have samples using the sketch for you all weekend and BLOG CANDY! First, the sketch. Nothing fancy, no colors, etc, but it serves its purpose.
And now for today's sample. I used the Motorcycle stamp and Rough Type, both from the Summer Mini. I also used Brushed Silver Cardstock, Silver Embossing Powers, Groom Specialty paper, Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock. Sorry about the glare on the middle square from the flash of my camera.
Now on the the BLOG CANDY. I will be posting two other samples using this sketch this weekend, to be eligible for the BLOG CANDY, leave a comment or create a creation using the sketch and leave a link for me to follow. You can leave a comment each day and be entered three times. Or create three creations and leave three comments with links and be entered six times. Get it? Every comment and creation is entered into the drawing. The drawing will be closed on Monday, June 14 at midnight. So what are you trying to win? Well in the spirit of my creations, using items from the Summer Mini, I thought it's only suiting that you win something from the Summer Mini. How about the Level 1 Hostess set, It's the Thought?
Now, back to the reguarly scheduled program, if you'd like to see other examples of the creations using this sketch, you can travel to Angela's blog next.
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Belated Fourth of July!
Hope everyone had a safe and fun Fourth of July. Along, with America, I celebrated my 29th birthday this weekend (on the third) and to celebrate, I'm giving away BLOG CANDY! It will be the Heart to Heart punch from SU! I accidentally ordered a duplicate of this punch and thought I'd share my mistake with all you lovely readers. You can enter several different ways, leave a comment, share a sample using the Lovely Flowers Bunch hostess set, subscribe to my blog. You will get one entry for each item you complete. Please be sure to leave your email address and the number of items you complete. Drawing will be held on Friday, July 10th.
Why samples from the Lovely Flower Bunch? I am participating in a 2 for 1 swap on splitcoast and my set is the Lovely Flower Bunch. I need to make 2 different cards with this set and since it's a swap, I need to be able to reproduce it many times. One of my samples using the Lovely Flower Bunch is below, but I can't reproduce this many times since it's using one of the rub-ons.

Today, I am also sharing with you a stamp camp project I created using the Top Note and Matchbox drawers die cut. I do have a tutorial, but will share it later. I am part of a Stamp Camp swap where we all create a stamp camp project and tutorial and then we will get a CD of the tutorials. I will share my tutorial after the swap due date. I used Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and Oval All stamp set.

Blog Candy and Baby Shower Card
**Edited: Blog Tour info is no longer needed, but your favorite card from tour is. If you've already entered with the Blog Tour info, you're still eligible. AND if I hit 2000 hits, another blog candy will be available next week!
It's time for blog candy! First of all, I want to thank all of you for stopping by on the Blog Tour. I had over 800 hits! In honor of the stamp set that I featured, the blog candy is going to be the stamp set, Cheers to You. I will try to get a picture up later, but you can get a good idea of what the set is by looking at my samples here. This will run until the end of this week and I will use the random number generator to pick the winner. Please leave a comment on your favorite card and a way for me to contact you if you're the winner. And sorry, this is only available to US residence. BUT for those of you not in the US, I will offer you the chance to win a set of cards that I made for the tour. Please note that you are out of the country in your comment.
Also, I finally updated the picture using the Fifth Avenue Floral and watercolor technique here to include the picture using glossy paper.
Finally, a quick sample that I made in 10 minutes for leaving for work. This is a baby shower card for my supervisor that is having a second girl. The stamp sets are Nursery Necessities and Goody Goody Gumdrops. Paper: Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Designer Sampler II, Whisper White, and Basic Black. It's not exactly what I had in mind and I'm not sure I like it that much, but it serves it's purpose.
