SFF 012811

Welcome to today's Sketch Frenzy! Today's sketch was created by Robbie and here it is.

So I burned the mid-night oil to create this and was very close to giving up and not creating anything. Boy am I glad that I stuck with it and was able to whip up this card. I am very pleased with how it ended up. The stamp set is Valentine Defined and the colors are Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, and Melon Mambo.

DCBC Color Challenge

This week it's a color challenge and the colors are as follows:

These happen to coincide with some of the colors in the new DSP from Sale-A-Bration, so I was able to use some of that and the new accessories. The only stamping was the sentiment which is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Valentine Defined

I know, I know, I'm late. I could bore you with the details, but I will just say that I just haven't had time to stamp lately and don't foresee much time in the foreseeable future. I WILL continue to participate in the DCBC and Sketch Frenzy Friday though. Anyways, today's share uses Valentine Defined. The colors are Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Old Olive, and Real Red.

Sketch Frenzy Friday

It's Friday, so that means there's a sketch for you to play along with. Here it is.

And here is my creation. It didn't turn out very good and then the lighting in the picture makes it worse. But anyways, I was trying to use the sketch and an example from the new Stampin' Success to create this card. The colors are Elegant Eggplant, Wild Wasabi, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla. The sentiment is from Because I Care.

Thanks for stopping by! Now it's time to head to the homepage and add your own creation.

And More Love

As promised, here is another share for you. Again, I used Filled With Love. I also used the new letterpress plates. I've tried and tried to use ink with these, but I swear I've gone through about a package of paper with no success. So I've accepted the fact that I will just have to use them without ink, I hope you can still see the impression.  The colors are Real Red and Whisper White.

Tomorrow is the Diva Coffee Break Challenge and I hope to have a creation for you. Thanks for stopping by!

But I do have another share for you tomorrow. Anyways, the colors are Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Real Red, and Wild Wasabi.

More Love..

Filled with Love, that is. Are you getting sick of seeing this set? Well lucky for you the special is set to expire soon, and it will no longer be able to be purchased, so I will no longer create (and share) with it. Hopefully, it will come back in the new catalog, I just love this set (no pun intended). Anyways, this card just kind of fell together and I am pleased with how it turned out. The colors are Basic Black, Basic Gray, Real Red, and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I'll have something new for you tomorrow. My future father-in-law is still in the hospital so my crafting time is very limited these days.

Sketch Frenzy Friday

Sorry again, for missing a post yesterday. Again, I spent most of the day in the hospital with my future father-in-law, so didn't have time to create something. I barely got this one done. First, here is the sketch.

And here is my creation, it's not at all what I had planned. I was getting too frustrated with it to come up with something else. That and one of the small stamps fell off of my clear block and I still can't find it. The colors are Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Regal Rose, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White. The stamp set is Clearly For You.

Late DCBC Post

Here is my late submission for this week's Diva Coffee Break Challenge. Tuesday nights are usually my nights to do my design team cards for the week (a little procrastinating, I know). Last night, little to my know I spent that night in the hospital with my future father-in-law. He was admitted yesterday morning and so I hurried over there and spent the day and night there. I first looked at this week's challenge about 20 minutes ago. So anyways, this week is a color challenge.

And here is my creation. You may recognize the layout from a card I previously did. I used a SAB sneak peak, Bliss.

Thanks for your patience and thanks for stopping by.

Tomorrow is the Diva Coffee Break Challenge, so stop by to see what I've come up for that! Thanks for stopping by today too.

Another Non-Traditional Valentine

Here is another non-traditional colored Valentine. I used Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, and Very Vanilla. The stamp set is Filled With Love. The layout is CASED, I added the ribbon instead of paper, the textures are my idea, along with the colors.

Sketch Frenzy Friday

It's time for the first Sketch Frenzy Friday of the year. Here is the sketch.

I had some trouble with this sketch and what I ended up is really not my style. When I started I really had no plans, so I was designing on the fly. I'm not sure if that's something I should do very often. I again used some of the DSP from Sale-A-Bration. The stamp set is XOXO and the colors are Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by and your next stop is the homepage to add your own design.

More Filled With Love

Can you tell that I"m getting ready for Valentine's Day at my boutiques? Here is another one, I'm trying to think out of the box when it comes to color combinations so I don't have all red, white, and pink cards on display. This is a CASE from Barb M. but I changed up the colors and added a couple more accessories. The colors are Blush Blossom, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, and Early Expresso. The stamp set is Filled With Love.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget that tomorrow is Sketch Frenzy!

Another Valentine

Here is another Valentine's Day card that I made, using the new Occassions catalog as my inspiration. It originally was going to be a CASE of one of the cards, but it turned out a little different. I used the stamp set XOXO and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. The colors are Pretty in Pink, Real Red, and Whisper White.

As always, thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Using Leftovers

Here is a card that I created using the leftovers from yesterday's card. I massed produced it for a swap and had tons of punched hearts laying around. So I decided to do something with them. As I think I've mentioned before, one of the benefits of being a demo is that Stampin' Up! publishes a monthly magazine, Stampin' Success, full of ideas. This is actually created using of of their sketches. The colors are Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty in Pink, and Whisper White. The stamp sets used are Tiny Tags and Valentine Defined.
