An Oldie but Goodie

Okay, so I'm not swapped in Mother's Day treats for the same store, but I promised you guys new creations this week. And I will be taking a break from blogging next week, the following week and part of the following week as TC will be coming back and we will be going to New Orleans to get married and spend some time there. Anyways, here is a card that I created a while ago, but have not shared with you guys. The stamp sets are Artistic Etchings, Heard from the Heart, and Baroque Motifs. The colors are Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, and Whisper White.

Artistic Etchings Share

A little change up today, no Halloween or Christmas cards and nothing from the Holiday mini. This is a card that I CASED from a convention swap I received. I used Artistic Etchings and the Medallion stamp sets. The colors are Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black, Whisper White, and Melon Mambo.

As always, thanks for stopping by. And don't forget tomorrow is Sketch Frenzy Friday!

For You Flower Wow Share

Here is a card that I did for a Wow swap at convention. It may not look like a wow, from the picture, but the ribbon unties and there are more hidden elements as you open the flaps. The colors are Concord Crush, Blushing Bride, Basic Gray and Whisper White. The stamp set is For You Flower and on the inside I used Artistic Etchings (don't you wish you had the card in your hands to see the inside).

Thanks for stopping by. We are reaching the end of the convention swaps that I did, only a few more left! And then on to some new creations.

ATC Share (Artist Trading Card) and LNS Challenge

This week's challenge over on LNS is ATCs. It just so happened that I'm also hosting a ATC swap with a twist over at LNSSwaps. The twist is that the ATC should be able to be added to a card front with minimal additional items to create a complete card. First, here is my ATC. I used Artistic Etchings for the stamp set and Real Red, Basic Black, and Very Vanilla for the colors.

And here is the card that I created using the ATC. I added a layer of embossed Very Vanilla (using a new Impressionz Folder), Wide Striped Grosgrain ribbon and then Basic Black as the base layer.

Sketch Frenzy Friday

Once again is Sketch Frenzy Friday and here is today's sketch.

And here is my creation. I used several sneak peak items from the new catalog. The stamp set is Artistic Etchings, the DSP is Newsprint and the ribbon is the new 1/8" taffeta in Very Vanilla. The colors are Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Real Red.

I'm not sure of the quality of the picture because I'm working from my network and used the webcam to take the picture. I will try to update the picture tomorrow, if need be. Also, our line-up has changed slightly this week, so check out the new members on my side bar. Angela is still the next blog on the list though. You can see her creation here. Finally, I am once again offering blog candy this weekend. To be eligible, you must create your own card or scrapbook page or anything else using this sketch and leave the link to your creation in a comment. Again, you have until Monday at midnight to post it.

Thanks!
