Day 12: Another SAB Sneak Peak

I did it! 12 posts in 12 days! And I created new stuff for you, not just post things I already had made.

Anyways, here is another SAB sneak peak using Vintage Labels, Bella Bleu DSP, and new scalloped edge punch. Colors are Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla.

And here is another one I made, using the same layout, stamp set, and DSP. I used Kraft cardstock instead of Very Vanilla too.

I will try to post a couple more samples and schedule them through the holidays, but if I don't get to it, hope everyone has safe and happy holidays!

Day 11: Another Sneak Peak

Can you believe that I actually have posted for now 11 days in a row?! Hard to believe, I know. Anyways, here is another Sneak Peak using I {Heart} Hearts and Well Scripted. It is pretty much a total case from a card Ilina made, you can see hers here. I also used the Sending Love Specialty Paper, Pinking Hearts border punch, and the new satin ribbon from the Occassions Mini. The colors are Real red, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink.

This second card is pretty much the same card, but I used buttons instead of the brads. For some reason, I have the hardest time finding a use for these buttons and I was creating the first card and putting in the brads, it dawned on me that the buttons would work perfectly on this card, with the design on the DSP that I used. Of course I already had my holes poked for the brads, so I ended up using two buttons to cover up the holes. But I think one button would have been just fine.

Day 10: SAB Sneak Peak

Here is a card that I made for a lots of layers swap on SCS. The requirements included 8 different layers, one had to be textured CS and another had to be DSP, layered punches (two different punches), 1 ribbon, and 3 brads, eyelets, buttons, etc. I used Vintage Labels as my SAB stamp set and the DSP from SAB (can't recall the name right now). I also used Circle Circus. The colors are Melon Mambo, Green Galore, and Whisper White.

Thanks for looking!

Day 9: Medallion Swap with baby-wipe technique tutorial

Here is a card that I made on behalf of someone for a swap that I held on SCS. The swaps were fantastic and maybe some day I'll take the time to take pictures and share them with you. Anyways, this card uses the baby wipe technique. This is where you use a babywipe colored with rinkers as your ink pad. It's okay if it a little dry, you can rewet it by spraying some water on it. To make my "ink pad" I used Green Galore, Pink Passion, and Bashful Blue reinkers and tried to create a target-like pattern. I then used this to ink up my Medallion stamp and stamped in on the desired size card stock. Instead of just adhering that to my card, I decided to cut it into strips and mix up the order of them before adhering to my card.

Hope you enjoy!

Day 8: Autumn Days

Okay, so maybe I just wished it was fall again since we really did not get a fall here in Minnesota. This card was also part of my Stamp-a-Stack and uses the same supplies as one of the cards I shared in Days 1 through 5, can you guess which one?

Stamps: Autumn Days, Thoughts and Prayers
Ink: Sahara Sand, Whisper White
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Whisper White

Day 7: BAB (Halloween?!)

Here is my Day 7 share, it's a Halloween card! Since I promised no Christmas and the products have been continued into the new mini catalog, it's still current :o) Actually, for the LNS challenge the project that I posted was a Christmas BAB card, so if you want to see it, you better join the group by clicking on the banner on my sidebar. The new mini catalog offers even more BAB accessories and another stamp set, which of course are now part of my collection, so stay tuned for samples with those too.

This card is pretty self explanatory, Basic Black, Only Orange, and Chocolate Chip.

12 Days of Christmas: Day 6

Here is another sneak peak from the new Occasions Mini, using I {Heart} Hearts and Fine Florish.  Colors are Rose Red and Whisper White. I also used the new Pinking Hearts border punch and Thoroughly Modern DSP. This is for a Lots of Layers swap, which requires 8 different layers, 1 ribbon, 2 punches, and at least three eyelets, buttons or brads.

Where Have I Been? (Long)

Sorry again, I took a little hiatus. TC was in town on leave from Iraq, so I was spending time with him and doing very little stamping. He is now on his way back so I have started stamping again. I got all my new sneak peak goodies and have started to create with them.

But first things first, on the LNS board there is a 12 days of Christmas challenge going on. Post something every day until Christmas. This started last Friday, but I haven't gotten to my blog or camera until now, so I'm playing catch up. Here are samples that should get me through Day 5.

Day 1: Medallion

Stamps: Medallion, Extreme Snowboarder, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Bordering Blue
Cardstock: Bordering Blue, Whisper White
Accessories: Sponges, Distressing Tool

Day 2: Thought and Prayers

Remember when I was creating cards for a Stamp-a-stack using the same supplies to create both a Christmas card and non-Christmas card? Here is the non-Christmas card and since I promised no more Christmas cards, you'll have to guess what you Christmas card looks like (hint: I used Patterned Pines for the main image).

Stamps: Thoughts and Prayers, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Patterned Pines
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive, Certain Celery
Cardstock: Whisper White, Real, Red, Olive Olive, Certain Celery
Accessories: Wide Grosgrain Ribbon, Big Shot Scalloped Oval, Eyelet Border Punch, Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Sponges

Day 3: One of a Kind

Another non-Christmas card from the Stamp-a-Stack designs.

Stamps: One of a Kind
Ink: Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Cardstock: Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Taffeta Ribbon, Square Punches, Brad

Day 4: Thank You

This is just a quick Thank You card that I made up for an event we had at work.

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Really Rust
Cardstock: Really Rust, Whisper White, Patterned Paper III
Accesories: Daisy Big Shot Die, Jumbo Eyelet, Wide Satin Ribbon

Day 5: With All My Heart Sneak Peak

Here is one of the cards that I made with the sneak peak items from the new Occassional Mini, available January 5. I used the clear block stamps for the first time and I did not notice any difference with regards to the quality of images versus the wood block stamps.

Stamps: With All My Heart, I {Heart} Hearts
Ink: Real Red, Pink Passion
Cardstock: Real Red, Pink Passion, new DSP Stack Sweet Pea
Accessories: Scalloped Trim Punch (SAB), Heart to Heart Punch, Ribbon

Thanks for being patient and stay tuned for Day 6 of the challenge (hopefully more timely).
