Welcome

Welcome and thanks for stopping by. So I've been to many blogs and have been highly impressed and inspired by so many people. I can only hope that someday someone will be as inspired as I am every day by something I have here. I am trying to stamp/scrap on a more consistent basis and hope that by having someplace to be accountable to for updates, I will be more inspired to do so. I also would like to participate in more sketch challenges and it seems to me that the easiest way to participate is to link my blog with my samples to the sketches.

I am also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator trying to finally get my business up as a business. For the past few years I have been my best customer and the times have finally caught up to me and I can no longer afford to continue to do this. I just can't seem to give it up though, I love the people that I meet, as customers and other demonstrators, and would greatly miss them if I quit. That being said any feedback about my samples, classes, etc is very welcome.

So this weekend, I participated in my very first craft show. I got what I wanted to get out of it, if not more, so I'm very satisfied with how it turned out. I brought cards that I made and retired stamp sets too sell. I also had the catalogs available for orders. I registered to participate in another show later this month in Lakeville, so hopefully that will be just as successful, if not more.

Below are pictures of how I had my table laid out, but I think that I need to rearrange it so that the main focus are the cards and catalog orders. I feel that I used too much room to display my retired stamp sets that it was not clear what I was trying to sell.

Later I will also post some samples of the cards that I made for the show and what I'm currently working on for swaps for Regionals in April.
