CAS Baby Card

Here is a very CAS CASE of a baby card. The stamp set is Baby Steps and is retiring. This is the first time I've used the stamp and I'm very sad to see it going. The colors are Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White.

MDS Share

Okay, here is a new one for me. I'm sharing something that I created on MDS. It's our wedding announcements. As you probably know, we eloped in New Orleans, just the two of us, so are going to be sending these out to let everyone know. Also, we've recently moved, so I included our new address too. This is the first time that I've really created something from scratch in MDS and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Before you get to excited though, the design was CASEd from one of those photo printing places that premake these sorts of things. I was going to just use that one, but I wanted to be able to match the colors for Thank You notes (should we receive any gifts), so I decided to use MDS. It's a sickness, I tell you, having to match everything. The colors are Marina Mist, Regal Rose, Basic Grey, and Elegant Eggplant.

The background is obviously white and I guess when I convert it to PDF, it doesn't draw the outline. Anyways, the size is 5 x 7.

I'm back for the time being. We'll see how long this lasts. We leave for Disney World on Friday and then it's less than a month before TC leaves again, but I HAVE to work on convention swaps! Anyways, this week is a color challenge and here are the colors.

MIA and SFF

Sorry I've been MIA lately. Life is just so busy. TC made it back, we went to New Orleans and got married. And now I'm working on wedding invitation for his brother. And finally, next week, we leave for Disney World with TC's mom and youngest daughter.  Anyways, it's Sketch Frenzy Friday and I don't have anything new to share, but wanted to make sure you make it along your way. Hi everyone! I have not totally fallen off the face of the earth, totally. TC is now safe and sound and we are preparing to leave for New Orleans on Monday. But first, today is Sketch Frenzy Friday! And here is the sketch.

 

I was very literal when interpretting this sketch. I used Flower Fest and Love and Care. The colors are Wild Wasabi, Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Night of Navy, Tango Tangerine, and Whisper White.
