It's the last of April (not May, as I said in yesterday's post) so that means it's the last day of the Occassions Mini. I'm ashamed to say that I have a few stamp sets from this mini that have not seen ink and more that have not seen enough ink. This weekend's post features one of the not seen enough ink sets, Plane & Simple. The card is a blatant CASE from splitcoast. The colors are Early Expresso, Very Vanilla, and Crumb Cake.
Thanks for stopping by! The next two and a half weeks are when I'm taking my vacation from my blog, to pick up TC from his deployment and then eloping to New Orleans. We will be back on May 16. I do have a few cards to share with you while I'm gone, but not everyday. Thanks for your patience!

Fun with String and SFF 042911
Can you believe it's the last Friday of May?! For me that means my honey is soon to be home from Afghanistan, so I am happy for that. Anyways, it also means that it's Sketch Frenzy Friday. Here is the sketch.
And here is my creation. I used Sunny Fun again with Happy Greetings. As my title indicates, I had from with the new Bakers Twine. The colors are Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White. I used some creative liberty when interpretating the sketch, I hope you can still see it. Hint: Rotate the sketch (or my creation) 45 degrees.
Thanks for stopping by and your next step is the homepage for you to play along too!

DCBC Color Challenge
Welcome to Wednesday and the Diva Coffee Break Challenge. This week's is a color challenge, here are the colors.
And here is my creation. Again, I used a stamp set from the main IBC, I guess that's this week's theme on my blog. They really do need to see more ink. Anyways, the stamp sets are Funky Four and Something to Celebrate. And it is a CASE until I realized that we don't have any Pacific Point buttons, so I had to substitute in a colored rosette. Yes, it really is Pacific Point even though it looks like a black blob.

Sunny Fun Share
Here is a card that I started a while ago, but didn't really know how to finish. I had the popsicles stamped and colored and left them. Well, yesterday while going through my piles of cards to CASE, I found a card from one of the display boards at the Minneapolis Regional, that I thought would be the key to finishing off this card. I used Sunny Fun and Thank You Kindly. The main colors are Peach Parfait, Early Expresso, Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point, and Whisper White. Several other colors were used to color in image in.

Strength & Hope Meets Wedding
Yesterday, while working on my card for Sketch Frenzy, I was trying to think of other ways I could use the stamp set. I mostly stamp to sell my cards in a little local boutique, and I wasn't sure how well this set would sell. Looking at the words in the script stamp, I noticed most of them would also be suitable for a wedding card, maybe not all. So how would I use the stamp without using the words I didn't feel suitable for a wedding card? Cut them off. That's one of the beauties of having clear mount stamps, you can cut things off or out and then easily piece them back together if you want to use the stamp as it was. Or take them apart to use the stamp to fit your needs. That is what I did here.
I used this stamp to CASE myself. This was the original card. And here is what I did. The sentiment is from Word Play. The colors are the same, Basic Black, Basic Grey, and Whisper White.
Thanks for stopping by and I would love to see what else you can come up with this set!
