Fall Swap Share

Good morning everyone. Today's share is a swap share, but not a convention swap. Over at LNS, this week's challenge is fall cards, so I thought I'd jump on the band wagon. This card is a CASE of a CASE. The stamp set is Always Thankful and the colors are More Mustard, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.

Today's swap share is a card that I created for a Wow swap. The "Wow" in my swap is a fancy fold. I used Delicate Doilies and You're a Gem stamp sets. The colors are Wisteria Wonder, Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, and Whisper White.

Another In With the New Swap

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a good weekend and are ready for the week. Today I have the other swap that I did for the In With the New Swap at Convention. The set that I used is Language of Friendship. The colors are Tango Tangerine, Burgundy Bravo, and Whisper White.

Swap Shares are Beginning

Okay, now that I'm back to blogging I will begin to share all the swaps that I made for Convention way back in July. This one I made for a "In With the New" swap, so the stamp set had to be a new stamp set from the IBC that was introduced on July 1st. I participated in two groups and this is the one of the cards that I swapped.  The stamp set is Creative Elements and the colors are Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush, and Whisper White.

I have another card to share with you today. It's the reject to the above card. I was looking at it and I think I like it more than the one I swapped with, oh well. Same stamp set and colors. I think I'm going to have to make more of these to sell at the local boutique that sells my cards.

Hey, I'm alive and well! Okay, I know I was MIA for a long time, but I'm not even going to go there. I decided I'm going to pretend like I just posted yesterday and move on, this is the only way I could get myself to pick up my blog again.

So it's Friday again and that means we have another mini blog tour for you and a new sketch. First, here is the sketch:

Sorry that is really small, but if I try to make it bigger, it's blurry and hurts my eyes. Anyways, here is what I did with it. First, I made it a vertical design and used The Sounding Joy, from the new Holiday mini. The colors are Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, and Early Expresso. I also used the new silver glimmer paper and  pewter embossing powder. So here is my creation.

My poor neglected blog and plea for help

Hi everyone, I hope you're still out there in cyber land. I haven't forgotten you, life has just gotten in the way. First it was preparing swaps for convention, I did 622 in total, then convention, and now I'm in Virginia waiting for TC to leave for his third deployment, second one to Afghanaistan. I have done some stamping and I still owe you convention swaps. Those will come next month when I'm back home.

In the meantime, I have a request from you - I WANT TO GO TO LEADERSHIP!! TC has agreed to let me go and pay for the trip under two conditions, one is the I need to meet the minumum requirements and this is where you come in. I need two more recruits and then sales. The other is a personal goal, that I may share with you later. So anyways, in the next coming months you will see more business things on my blog, including buys, classes, kits, and tutorials. The other requirement is recruits. Right now through the end of July, Stampin' Up! has a recruiting special and it's only $99 to sign up!
