I went MIA yesterday, so about that, it wasn't purposely done. I have another CASE for you. I did change up the sentiment and added some spritz (that I got a little crazy with). The sentiment comes from Apple Blossoms. The paper is Newsprint DSP. Colors are Very Vanilla, Real Red and Basic Black.

And if you get lost, you can always go back to the VC Rocks main page and find your way again. Today, I'm featuring the new sneak peak items, Baby Bundle and Greenhouse Gala DSP, along with some of the new colors. I actually have two shares for you and I need to decide which one to use for a swap, maybe you guys can help. Here is the first card that I created. The colors are Pear Pizzazz, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White. The sentiment is from Perfect Punches.
But then I thought it was too busy and changed up some of the layers and came up with the following. Some colors and layout, just rotated.

Cute by the Inch Case
Today's share used Cute by the Inch and the layout is a CASE from a card I received from Sharon Field. Be sure to check out her blog here. The card I received from her was a birthday card with a retiring stamp, but I just loved the layout and had to replicate it. Here is my version of it. I also used the new Greenhouse Gala DSP and the sentiment is from another Hostess Set, Apple Blossoms. The colors are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget tomorrow is Sketch Frenzy! And then this weekend is the second VC Rocks Blog Tour!

ATC Share (Artist Trading Card) and LNS Challenge
This week's challenge over on LNS is ATCs. It just so happened that I'm also hosting a ATC swap with a twist over at LNSSwaps. The twist is that the ATC should be able to be added to a card front with minimal additional items to create a complete card. First, here is my ATC. I used Artistic Etchings for the stamp set and Real Red, Basic Black, and Very Vanilla for the colors.
And here is the card that I created using the ATC. I added a layer of embossed Very Vanilla (using a new Impressionz Folder), Wide Striped Grosgrain ribbon and then Basic Black as the base layer.
Thanks for stopping by!

Playful Pieces Share
I do feel like something is missing, what can be done differently for it to be complete?
Thanks!
So I guess I took the weekend off from my blog. It wasn't intentional, but I never got anything posted. It was a rough weekend for me, being the first Father's Day without my dad. Anyways, I'm back with another sneak peak for you guys. This card uses two sneak peak sets: Playful Pieces and Perfect Punches. It also uses the new DSP Newsprint and the new ribbon. The colors are River Rock, Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Marina Mist.

Sketch Frenzy Friday
Once again is Sketch Frenzy Friday and here is today's sketch.
And here is my creation. I used several sneak peak items from the new catalog. The stamp set is Artistic Etchings, the DSP is Newsprint and the ribbon is the new 1/8" taffeta in Very Vanilla. The colors are Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Real Red.
I'm not sure of the quality of the picture because I'm working from my network and used the webcam to take the picture. I will try to update the picture tomorrow, if need be. Also, our line-up has changed slightly this week, so check out the new members on my side bar. Angela is still the next blog on the list though. You can see her creation here. Finally, I am once again offering blog candy this weekend. To be eligible, you must create your own card or scrapbook page or anything else using this sketch and leave the link to your creation in a comment. Again, you have until Monday at midnight to post it.
Thanks!

Sketch Frenzy - Last Day!
Here is the final card I designed using the sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday. I actually will be doing this as a make and take for a club I have this afternoon. I am highlighting the different ways to use DSP. Again, I used Island Oasis DSP, Old Olive, Whisper White and Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The little punched out flowers are from Itty Bitty Bits and punched out using the Trio Flower punch (which is retiring). The sentiment is from Happy Everything, which is also retiring.
Again, don't forget about my BLOG CANDY! See Friday's post to see how you can get in on it! Tomorrow is the last day to get registered.
Thanks!

It's Here! Sketch Frenzy Friday with Blog Candy
It's that time again. Sketch Frenzy Friday. This week's sketch is actually a sketch that I designed and I just can't seem to get enough of it. I have samples using the sketch for you all weekend and BLOG CANDY! First, the sketch. Nothing fancy, no colors, etc, but it serves its purpose.
And now for today's sample. I used the Motorcycle stamp and Rough Type, both from the Summer Mini. I also used Brushed Silver Cardstock, Silver Embossing Powers, Groom Specialty paper, Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock. Sorry about the glare on the middle square from the flash of my camera.
Now on the the BLOG CANDY. I will be posting two other samples using this sketch this weekend, to be eligible for the BLOG CANDY, leave a comment or create a creation using the sketch and leave a link for me to follow. You can leave a comment each day and be entered three times. Or create three creations and leave three comments with links and be entered six times. Get it? Every comment and creation is entered into the drawing. The drawing will be closed on Monday, June 14 at midnight. So what are you trying to win? Well in the spirit of my creations, using items from the Summer Mini, I thought it's only suiting that you win something from the Summer Mini. How about the Level 1 Hostess set, It's the Thought?
Now, back to the reguarly scheduled program, if you'd like to see other examples of the creations using this sketch, you can travel to Angela's blog next.
Thanks for stopping by!

Because I Care Sneak Peak
Here is a sneak peak like I promised you yesterday. I was blurfing yesterday to find something that I liked to CASE to show you today, but then I forgot all my samples at work, so I was left to my own devices. I decided to try Mojo Monday again. I know it's Tuesday now, but I did actually create this on a Monday, does that count? Here is this week's sketch.
This uses the Level 1 hostess set Because I Care. I also used some of the new in-colors: Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, and Pear Pizzazz. This color combination is straight from the new Color Coach too. Since I don't have any DSP in the new in-colors yet, I created by own using the Presto Patterns DSP and my Stampin' Marker. Here is my creation.
Thanks for stopping by. I have another share using this set tomorrow.

Vintage Vogue Revisit
Today's share is a card I created for a Splash of Color swap. The mission was to create a card using black and white and a splash of color. The color could not be cardstock or a stamped image (unless it was small). This is one of the cards that I created, tomorrow you will see the other one. The idea was actually a CASE of myself and the card I created here. The stamp set is Vintage Vogue (which is coming back in the new IBC) and my splash of color is the Real Red brad. But they're retired you may say. Nope, I used the Sahara Sand brad and colored it with my Real Red marker. You can make any color you want with this technique!

Shaped Card
Today's share is a shaped card that I created from a class I took from Jackie Topa. The shape is of a dress. The DSP used is the print patterns in Rich Razzleberry.
Thanks for stopping by and your patience.

Sneak Peak and Sketch Frenzy Friday
As promised, here is my version of the sketch using two preview sets. But first, the sketch.
And here is my creation. I used Cute by the Inch and Occassional Quotes, both are hostess sets that will be available in the new IBC that is live on July 1. I also used some of the new colors, Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delightful, and then Whisper White and Chocolate Chip. Notice the ribbon and DSP? They are also sneak peaks. The DSP is called Greenhouse Gala.
If you'd like to see the other creations using this sketch, you can start by checking out Angela's blog here.
As always, thanks for stopping by. TC is in town on leave from Fort Hood and then leaves for Afghanistan on Wednesday, so the next couple of days I will be showing samples using current products. Next week, I will have more time to create using my sneak peak products for you, so stay tuned!
